Pervasa Wins Silver Best of Sensors Expo Award in the Data Acquisition Category

Jun 13, 2007

Gainesville, FL – Pervasa today announced that it has been awarded a Silver “Best of Sensors Expo” award in the Data Acquisition Category. Pervasa won the award for its Atlas line of product. Atlas is a new breed of computers known as the sensor platform, which are to sensors and devices what home computers are to printers, scanners, or digital cameras. By seamlessly connecting devices to the network, Atlas delivers embedded hardware as a software service to the developer. These services can then be combined to create a vast array of applications and solutions.

The Sensors “Best of Sensors Expo” awards honored the most exciting new products that were on display at the Sensors Expo & Conference, which took place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. All entries were judged on the basis of potential impact, application, distinctiveness, timeliness, and availability.

This panel of judges were comprised of the magazine’s editorial staff, members of the editorial advisory board, and industry experts including Melanie Martella, executive editor of Sensors; Deborah Lickness, Engineer, Advanced Sensors, John Deere; and Ed Ramsden, Product Definer, SSIP/SSC, Maxim Integrated Products

“The awards program recognizes the companies that are truly at the forefront of innovation and leadership in the sensors industry,” said Martella. “Choosing the winners from the exceptional pool of candidates was very difficult—there are some truly remarkable products out there. I offer hearty congratulations to the winners.”
